For the sake of brevity I'll just post my completed games, the current week, and the previous week. My technique has been to categorize things and have different themes each week. This game is stupidly simple and it's fun!. but this game feels reeeeally repetitive, and I don't think I'm good at it either. Is it supposed to be scary? Is there any sense to those puzzles or are they just random?. I'd need to install an JRE to play that game?. and I'm not in the mood for random multiplayer right now. MISSING: An Interactive Thriller - Episode One I will have to make up a rule about that eventually. from those 10 I pick games with achievements and no prequels. I started at newest, but I've won some more in the mean time, so that's rather arbitrary now. HOLIDAY EXCEPTION: I can enter as many games as I want starting today (December 19th) until January 1st. GAs entered: 24/20 D: Changed to only entering wishlist and group/whitelist overlaps ^^Įntries before starting: 5,558 (5,376 + 182 from Holiday entries) I added a table for all postponed games from earlier batches, just to keep track of what I haven't played yet :) Completed I also decided to postpone any games that require a previous part, instead of "disqualifying" them because of that. And to balance things out, I'll create 1 GA per batch started + 1 GA per batch finished (crappy bundle leftovers, but it's something ^^)Įdit: The platformers are a lot harder without a gamepad, so I'm postponing them until I get one (I may still work on them in between the rest, but it'll take a lot longer with just keyboard controls). (Copying my stuff from the old thread for now, will make adjustments later ^^)ĭoing this in batches of 5 and changing my rules to enter 2 GAs per finished game after that game is finished (I have Super Meat Boy in my first batch, come on!). This thread is a continuation of this one, as I forgot to reserve a section there for the runners (I wasn't expecting anyone would join me and now look at how many runners we have ^^).
You can also not post anything at all, it's completely up to you. If you want an invite, just apply here and we'll be glad to have you.Īll runners will have a reserved section here, which can be accessed below, where you can keep a simple bulleted list / table of your progress while leaving a more detailed version in the group, or whatever you wish. There you can make your own threads, review the games you've played, discuss it with other runners and have fun killing your backlogs for good. There is also a Steam group - BLAEO - that is tied to this project. And you can also change your rules or have no rules at all. You don't have to do it in stages and batches like me, you can approach it however you want. If you want to join the marathon, reply here and I'll reserve a section for you.
And every time I finish a stage, I will try to bump with a big train. Every time I finish a batch, I will try to bump with a giveaway. I will start a marathon to clean out my backlog. I'm committed! I can do this! I'm here to make a deal with myself. I have reached 250 games, so now I have hundreds of games on my backlog and it's time to put an end to this.
